PAR 4, 397 M, INDEX 7
The 9th hole has been set up to act as one of the toughest tests on the course, as is traditionally the case for a finishing hole. Whilst it is strategically quite strong and requires accurate shot making, it does play gently downhill, providing some respite for the higher handicappers.
The best play off the tee will be to position the ball on the left side of the fairway, as this will obtain the best view down to the green and the best angle of attack to avoid the large beach bunker and pond on the right side.
Successfully hitting the green on this second approach shot will indeed be a memorable experience, and one that will be achievable in the full view of the golfer’s terrace. The 9th green, pond and clubhouse arrangement, all surrounded by tall forest trees, will make for a particularly beautiful and classy finishing scene for the 1st nine.
